The fit of the silicone core is nice and tight, and the acrylic outer shell makes me feel pretty confident about my PlayBook being pretty well protected. I can only "deploy" the kickstand with my thumbnail and that with some effort-- I couldn't pry it open with any other fingernail for some reason, so it probably will not often get used, unfortunately. The screen protector is just awful, and while it feels nice and substantial, it looked terrible on the screen with several bubbles that no amount of using the included flat card would fix. I have had much better luck with a premium screen protector on other devices such as my iPad, so I wasn't too concerned with the freebie screen protector that came with this case. It was so awful I threw it away. However, I didn't even buy this knowing it had a screen protector at all, so I'm overall... A little less bulky as well, though still does increase the thickness of the Playbook. The edges and corners are very well rounded, and holding the Playbook in the case feels both more substantial and more natural.
